English Workshop 2006, The Best Way to Learn English

Hola, queremos compartir contigo nuestra experiencia e invitarte a venir con nosotros y aprender el mejor inglés. En nuestro colegio, además de las clases normales de inglés te invitamos a participar en el nuevo Taller voluntario de Inglés (Workshop of English), donde en un ambiente relajado nuestros estudiantes aprenden mucho más. Trabajamos durante 45 minutos y hay alumnos de diferentes edades.

Nuestros objetivos son simples y progresivos. El primero es enseñarte creando atmósferas y situaciones reales donde todo sea en inglés. De ahí que nos servimos once, trabajamos dentro o fuera de la sala de clases, en otras oportunidades jugamos a las escondidas, al trompo, pero siempre estamos hablándo en inglés.

Si te atreves, el único requisito es entusiasmo y responsabilidad, el resto lo ponemos nosotros.

Además te contamos que este año, tuvimos la gran experiencia de trabajar junto a un invitado de los Estados Unidos quien participó junto a nosotros en varias jornadas. La verdad es que fue genial.

De nuestro trabajo en el 2006 te queremos presentar algunos datos que te van a gustar y nuestra primera generación. Esperamos ver aquí tu rostro el 2007.

Hi, we want to share with you our experience and invite you to come with us and learn better English. In our School, besides the normal English lessons we invite you to participate in the new English Workshop, where in a relaxing atmosphere our students learn much more. The duration of the Workshop is 45 minutes a week and we have students of different ages.

Our objectives are simple and progressive. The first one is to teach using real situations and an atmosphere where everything is in English. For example, sometimes we enjoy a special tea time, we also work indoors and outdoors, or we play hide and seek or the "trompo." But the whole time we are speaking in English.

If you dare, the only requirement is enthusiasm and responsability, we will do the rest. In addition, we want to tell you that this year we had an excellent experience of working with a guest from The United States who participated with us many times. It was great!

Well, from our work during this year we want to show you some excellent tips that you will like and will show you the first group (generation) of students. We hope to see your faces here in 2007!

Los Profesores - The Teachers

Ahora nos presentamos nosotros, a tu derecha está nuestro invitado, quien vino especialmente de Denver, Colorado a ayudarnos a enseñar inglés. Él tiene 23 años y recién terminó de estudiar negocios en la universidad de Colorado. Además de trabajar en el taller de inglés, nos colaboró con todos los alumnos del colegio, para que cada uno tuviera la oportunidad de compartir con una persona cuya primera lengua es el inglés, y sobre todo para aprender de su cultura. Esto nos ayudó en el desarrollo de la tolerancia y el respeto al otro. A tu izquierda, estoy yo, el profesor de inglés del Colegio Erasmo Escala, quién te invita a aprender y soñar. Porque sabemos en nuestro colegio que tú también lo puedes lograr. No importa si eres más lento o rápido, lo importante es avanzar.

Now we will present ourselves, to your right is our guest who came from Denver, Colorado to help us teach English. He is 23 years old and recently graduated from the University of Colorado after studying business. In addition to working in the English Workshop, we collaberated with all of the students of the school, so that everyone had the opportunity to share with a person whose first language is English, and most of all to learn their culture.
